Meeting Objectives The objectives of the Specialty Day (Open) scientific program of The Knee Society and The Hip Society are to update clinical skills and basic knowledge through research findings, to discuss the various surgical and nonsurgical treatments and management of conditions related to the knee joint, to determine indications and complications in total knee arthroplasty, to critique presentations of surgical techniques and demonstrations of treatment options, and to evaluate the efficacy of new treatment options through evidence-based data.
